Cross-country skiing in the Zugspitz Arena
The long season offered by the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is especially attractive, with great conditions on the Ganghofer-Hochloipe, up on the Ehrwalder Alm, right through into spring. The whole of the Golfrundloipe has artificial snowmaking facilities, guaranteeing snow sure conditions throughout the season.

My personal favourite is the 44 km, completely newly marked circuit between Ehrwald and Heiterwang. By taking it at their own speed, athletes can decide how challenging this moderately difficult and scenically very beautiful trail should be. Hobbyists can hop on the free bus or the “Schneeexpress” if they want to take a shortcut.
